摘要： The acquaintance principle originating from acquaintance community and stranger society, is different from the stranger principle. The former is the object of knowledge for theoretical folkloristics, while the latter is the object of thought for practical folklore studies. The acquaintance principle is the practical and empirical knowl- edge （including affirmative proposition and negative proposition） objectively abstracted from the empirical phe- nomena of acquaintance community and stranger society, which is induced by the subject.
